Daniel Rustowicz, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Rustowicz formed RedWind Consulting in the Fall of 2008. Prior to starting his own venture, he was the Chief Development Officer of a privately held Minnesota renewables company. In November 2017, RedWind changed its name to RedWind Renewables to reflect its deliberate strategy shift to include utility scale development, which today is its primary focus.
Formerly, Mr. Rustowicz was the Manager, Business Development Wind Energy for John Deere Credit. His contributions in Corporate Business Development, in which Strategic Growth Initiatives are researched, analyzed, and acted upon, as its "Team Leader" for the Wind Initiative were instrumental in commercializing the wind business for John Deere prior to its move to John Deere Credit, and growing the business from an incubator in Corporate Business Development to close to $1B enterprise.
Before spearheading the wind initiative, he worked at various divisions within Deere & Company including Construction & Forestry. Nortrax and the North American Ag Marketing Center. Prior to joining Deere, he received a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business after spending approximately five years with Ernst & Young, LLP as a Senior Auditor.
Mr. Rustowicz received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and All College Honors Distinction from Canisius College. He is a CPA, inactive in the State of NY, and Eagle Scout.
Mr. Rustowicz is a single Father of three children, and a New Yorker at heart. He Coaches both basketball and travel baseball for his son Pierce, and coached volleyball for his daughter Ava.
